Pingree Detroit, a Michigan low-profit limited liability company, was founded to provide living wage work for veterans and residents of Detroit through creating sustainable bags, accessories and footwear. Pingree Detroit products are handmade though completely non-toxic processes, using American-made, often up-cycled materials, including leather reclaimed from the Detroit auto industry. As a worker-owned company, 77% of its profits are shared with its employees.
